By accessing huverify.com, creating an account, or submitting a verification application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Huverify. "You" refers to the individual accessing the service. "We," "us," and "our" refer to Huverify.
Huverify is a human identity verification platform. We provide:
We do not provide legal identity documents, background checks, criminal record checks, credit checks, or any other form of verification beyond confirming that a real, live human being presented a valid government-issued ID and passed a liveness check.
To use our service, you must:
One badge per person. Attempting to obtain multiple badges using different identity documents or different accounts is a violation of these terms and will result in permanent revocation of all badges and forfeiture of all payments.

The entire verification process typically completes within minutes. Your badge becomes active immediately upon successful verification.
The current fee for an Huverify verification is $5.00 USD, charged at the time of application. This fee covers one year of badge validity from the date of issue.

To request a refund, email hello@huverify.com with your email address and the reason for your request. We process refund requests within 5 business days.
Badges are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Renewal requires a new $5 fee and may require a new verification at our discretion. We will notify you by email 60 days and 14 days before your badge expires.
Upon successful verification, you receive a unique ES badge code (format: ES-XXX-0000). This code:
You may not sell, transfer, license, or allow another person to use your ES code or badge. You may not misrepresent the status of your badge — for example, continuing to display a badge after it has expired or been revoked.
We reserve the right to revoke a badge at any time if:
Revocation is permanent. A revoked badge cannot be reinstated. You may apply for a new badge by going through the full verification process again, but we reserve the right to permanently ban individuals who have submitted fraudulent applications.

An Huverify badge confirms that on the date of verification, a real, living human being presented a valid government-issued ID that passed Stripe Identity's document verification, and that person's live face matched the ID document.
Our badge does not guarantee:
Employers, platforms, and any third party relying on an Huverify badge do so at their own discretion. We are not liable for any decisions made based on a badge verification.
All content on huverify.com — including the Huverify name, logo, badge design, and platform — is owned by Huverify and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Your ES badge code is licensed to you personally and non-exclusively for the purpose of sharing your verified status. This license terminates when your badge expires or is revoked.
Our service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure. Identity verification technology is sophisticated but not infallible — we cannot guarantee that no fraudulent application will ever succeed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Huverify's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our service is limited to the amount you paid us — $5.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or any decision made by a third party based on your badge.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service will be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
Before initiating arbitration, you agree to contact us at hello@huverify.com and give us 30 days to resolve the issue informally.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you disagree, you may close your account before the effective date.
You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@huverify.com. Closing your account will revoke any active badge. We do not offer refunds for remaining badge validity upon voluntary account closure.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. In cases of fraud, termination is immediate and permanent.
